Happy 21st Huiching!
Birthday dinner at Au Petit Salut, hosted by Huiching, was a good one. Thankfully, David went, so at least I'm not alone.

The canapes, together with white wine was a good complement.
Okay, I was quite lousy because I couldn't move on to the red wine, even when we were having our mains. For my main, I had Wildfire spiced black cod fillet on Desiree Mash with baby asparagus and bush tomato jus. Don't ask me what's bush tomato jus. They looked like normal tomatoes to me. Haha!
Whichever way, the french fare served was just immaculate.

There was even a "fashion show"! Huiching's dad and mom were so spontaneous! They strutted in from the main door, like fashion models and kissed on the spot. So sweet, and so fun!

I have to admit I was a bit worried about not having enough people around to talk with (there was only david!), but in the end, the private party was surprisingly enjoyable. At least we could all catch up a bit.
