i finally passed by tong's very own "food for thought" on my way to miss clarity cafe and guess what.

what?! i spotted him! he was cutting veggies at the counter!

interestingly domesticated.

he waved excitedly at me and i waved back happily too. so i went in and chatted with him for a while. he's as tall and friendly as ever!

apparently, he's enjoying, in his own words, the sai kang (english: shit work) of cooking as he doesn't have to teach this week (it's jc prelims now).

ahhhh mr tong's still the best teacher-friend i ever had :)

i gotta drop by next time to try the cafe food. it has received many good reviews!

so you must be wondering why i was heading to miss clarity cafe. well, because my uni chums were treating me to lunch! besides this free lunch, they also got me a gorgeous (and i'm not exaggerating okay!) journal book and a lovely japanese handphone pouch for my birthday - i like!

thank you ching, van, denise and sengkeat for spending time with me. i truly appreciate the fun we had.
