the bangladeshi's wink
went to town yesterday for a lunch appointment. as bus 65 approached the orchard mrt stop, 2 petite, well-dressed filipinos (those typical ones you see outside lucky plaza) scrambled to stand at the bus exit. just then, a bangla came down from the upper deck of the bus.

the following incident i've witnessed left me amused.

the eyes of one filipino met with those of the bangladeshi's. the lady began scrutinising that bangladeshi and his darting eyes examined her long hair, body and legs.
playing hard to get, the lady turned away and started talking to her friend but passion went out of control and so, she stole a peek at the bangladeshi.
reciprocating the peek, the bangladeshi winked at her!!! i tried to suppress my smile because it was hilarious. it was strange. it's so, so traditional - like those courtships you see in bollywood movies!

when we got down the bus, that bangladeshi continued smiling at both the filipinos. but the ladies haughtily ignored him.
oh get a life!

the lao cheeko pek's wink
char, yue and i finally met up. it was a mugging+talking+eating session last thursday. mugging made up 70% of the day though. haha!
both yue and i dropped by national library to study (but of course, our main purpose was to visit FFT) when char left.

while on our way to the restroom in the library, i saw a lao ah pek walking towards us. as we drew closer, he suddenly swerved and tried to bump into me. it was so obvious! thank goodness i avoided him in time. nonetheless, i turned my head to glare irritatingly at him and guess what.

he smiled and winked at me!!! perversely, to add.
at that moment, i was so disgusted i felt like cursing out loud at that lao cheeko pek!
but i controlled myself because it would be terribly wrong to repay evil with evil.

haiya. even the national library can have lao cheeko peks. no place is safe anymore!

lobster red
i swam last friday with my little cousin and i got sunburnt. my shoulders are tender red. quick... recover please!~ sarah and angie are burnt too... ha! but mine seems worst!
