Interaction with Coptic Orthodox youths from Sydney
3 February 2008, Sunday

This interaction session was held in the Armenian Church, a very beautiful old church in Singapore (it was built in the 19th century) and a few of us youths (Yunjian, Weiliang, Junwei, Shumin, Chuan and me) went for it.
The Coptic (Egyptian Christians) Orthodox Church is vastly different from the Protestant Church. They are traditional and remind me a lot of Roman Catholicism (they too, have priests, monks, nuns, elaborated rituals). But as I come to realise after the interaction and after reading Weiliang's blog, Jesus Christ is what binds us all together, despite the differences in worship. We are all worshipping the same God, the same heavenly Father who loves us all.
And that's the beauty of being One in Christ.
Through this session, I made a few good acquaintances from other Singapore churches too. It would be good to find out how other church youths carry out their activities so we can "exchange notes". Heh.

Look at the surroundings of the church. I love the stained glass and the cosyness of it.
Prayer Meeting 5 Feb 2008, Tuesday
This particular Meeting was personal and pouring out my soul before the Lord never felt so liberating. I just talked to the Lord about my hopes and fears, like He was a very close friend, and I believe He understood.

KBoxing+Celebrating Weiching's Birthday 6 Feb 2008, Wednesday
I learned a way of singing karaoke from Van and Denise - stand up on the sofa and be like a diva!
That's how the four of us did when we sang and boy, it's fun!
This singing session made me realise Denise has such powerful lungs. She sings VERY VERY well. The evidence?
When she sang "Journey", I thought I heard Corrinne May! She's incredible, really.
We got a box of lovely, pretty cupcakes, a colourful apron, a blue baking glove and a handmade card for Weiching.
The cupcakes were tasty and pretty, and they're baked by Yue (I ordered them from her). She's just so talented in this!
Denise - THE Singer!
Diva #1
Making a wish...
We attest to the yummy factor of the cupcakes!
